I’m delighted to be partnering with 24 other interior designers in what we are calling #CameraReadyInteriors, a group blogging event to celebrate the talented photographers that capture our designs so beautifully.

It was fate that Lauren and I met in our daughter’s music class. It just so happens that our daughter’s have the same birthday and we delivered at the same hospital just rooms away from each other…and even lived within minutes from one another. So naturally, we became fast friends! But let’s talk about her amazing photography skills shall we?

Lauren Friday Photography

She specializes in wedding photography but branched out to shoot several interior spaces for me! She’s exceptionally talented and has such an amazing eye. You can see her work on Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Southern Weddings and Charlotte Weddings to name just a few.

Photographers have such a “behind the scenes” job and it’s not an easy one at that… photographing interiors can be tricky. Even though we design everything down to the very last detail it can be difficult to capture a space naturally on camera without proper styling and tweaking. So I thought it would be fun to highlight Lauren and share this recent nursery design I completed.
